I can't think of a better photo to submit for my 100th deviation than a purely magical moment I managed to capture at the 謙信公祭 (Kenshin Kousai) in Joetsu.
Currently, Gackt is portraying the 16th century warlord, Uesugi Kenshin, on the NHK taiga drama, 風林火山 (Fuurinkazan). Kenshin lived in Kasugayama Castle in Joetsu City and every year, they have a samurai procession and a re-enactment of one of the many battles from the time. Because of his ties with the drama, he appeared in Joetsu live at the procession and this shot... oh this shot.
It was luck. It was magic. It was fate!
(At the advice of a good friend, I put a copyright/watermark across the photo, as Gackt is super popular among online communities and DA isn't really the artists' safehaven everyone would like it to be... there are theives everywhere. So, to protect my own work, I had to mar the shot with the mark. I hate to do it, but she has a point!!)

"The beauty of religious mania is that it has the power to explain everything. Once God (or Satan) is accepted as the first cause of everything which happens in the mortal world, nothing is left to chance... logic can be happily tossed out the window." SK
